  • Job Summary:

    The Wellness & Recognition Regional Coordinator is responsible for designing, coordinating and implementing organization wide Wellness & Recognition programs and initiatives within a regional scope. In addition to designing and delivering presentations that help clarify Wellness & Recognition initiatives, this role also supports the learning and development space in the delivery of presentations that promote the cultural values of the organization as well as topics that promote a more positive impact on service quality. The W&R Regional Coordinator will be responsible for planning and promoting events at the regional level as well as finding alignment with initiatives happening at National Headquarters. The Wellness & Recognition Regional Coordinator will travel to all program locations as needed up to 80% of the time.

    Essential Functions:

    • Serve as a resource for wellness and recognition policies and procedures
    • Work in collaboration with management across the multiple sites, as a means of promoting a culture and environment that is supportive of wellness and recognition opportunities.
    • Develop and implement promotional and motivational programs, with a focus on promoting overall wellness
    • Build relationships with management and employees at multiple locations to increase participation in various programs and initiatives.
    • Partners with organizational leaders to identify relevant training needs for staff and develops and implements new trainings as needed.
    • Organize presentation venues, logistics, transportation and accommodations as required
    • Conduct, coordinate and facilitate wellness events as well as program activities aimed at improving employee health and well being
    • Building tailored communications in collaboration with the Wellness & Recognition Communications Specialist to promote employee engagement
    • Manage data as a means of evaluating and montoring program needs, identifying unmet needs and revising, promoting, creating and implementing program changes as needed.
    • Management of administrative tasks including program budgets, compliance tasks, as well as all other program requirements as needed.
    • Performs assigned administrative duties to support the Wellness & Recognition Teams
    • Organize and coordinate systems that allow clean roll-outs of initiatives
    • Works with HQ Wellness & Recognition Team to develop necessary deliverables to push out programming 

    Other Functions:

    • Assist in writing reports, policies and procedures, as needed.
    • Keep updated on trends and wellness and recognition initiatives.
    • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant work experience managing start up programs and initiatives
    • Experience working within Wellness or Health related industry
    • Highly skilled in Microsoft Computer Programs. Excellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Preferred Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with sensitivity to employee relations needs.
    • Comfortable in leading presentations with audiences of 100+
    • Must be able to communicate clearly and comfortably with all levels of staff and management.
    • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills - confidence in delivering information publicly to all levels of employees in a training environment.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish

    Physical Demands:

    Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of work station and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

    Work Environment:

    General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
