The Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative support to the program. The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate with Southwest Key Programs and with outside contacts. Must be computer literate and have the ability to operate office equipment.Â While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to bend, lift, seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hand or hands. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.Â Ability to work with a diverse population on a daily basis.
