The Contract Administrator is responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products. The Contract Administrator is also responsible for assisting in the operational, managerial, and administrative duties relating to the Transportation contract.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, plus (five) 5 years of experience in the preparation, administration and monitoring of contracts, to include (2) years supervisory experience in a management and/or administrative capacity.
Experience with construction and/or design of professional contracts preferred.
Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Clear criminal background check.
Clear Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) or child protective services check.
Flexibility and willingness to work irregular and long hours including evenings and weekends
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of work station and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds. Position requires significant travel at times.
General office environment with moderate noise. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time.
